Safety Plan

2021 COVID Safety Protocols*


  • Players, coaches, and umpires are required to wear masks except when on the field. Masks are required in dugouts and team huddles.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided for use before, during, and after practices and games.

  • A player who tests positive for COVID-19 should contact their coach.

  • Coaches should report players that have tested positive for COVID to RLL Vice President at [email protected]

  • Players and spectators should stay home if they are showing signs of illness, tested positive for COVID, or have a close contact as defined by the CDC.
  • Players and spectators should stay home if awaiting test results.
  • Players should stay home if they are placed in quarantine due to an exposure at school.  Quarantine has been changed from 14 days to 10 days.  Athletes may return to play on day 11 following close contact.

  • Coaches should spray benches and high touch surfaces in dugout following use.
  • Avoid hand shakes and high fives.

  • Spectators will be required to wear masks.

  • Social distancing will be encouraged with signage.

  • Spitting and seeds are not allowed.

  • Athletes ages 13-19 will be required to participate in antigen testing.

    It is the responsibly of the parent to verify that each athlete is without fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, temperature (greater than 100.3), or recent close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID prior to each practice or game.
