Safety Plan

2021 COVID Safety Protocols*

 

  • Face masks are optional for all spectators, athletes, coaches and umpires.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided for use before, during, and after practices and games.

  • A player who tests positive for COVID-19 will need to contact their coach.

  • Coaches should report players who have tested positive for COVID to RLL Vice President at [email protected]

  • Players and spectators should stay home if they are showing signs of illness, tested positive for COVID, or have a close contact (determined by the Kent County Health Department or household contact).
  • Players and spectators should stay home if awaiting test results.
  • Coaches should spray benches and high touch surfaces in dugout following use.
  • Avoid hand shakes and high fives.

  • Spitting and seeds are not allowed.

  • Athletes ages 13-19 will be required to participate in antigen testing unless they are fully vaccinated or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days.

    It is the responsibility of the parent to verify that each athlete is without fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, temperature (greater than 100.3), or recent close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID prior to each practice or game.
